Lessons in sewage treatment from Navi Mumbai

Instead of wasting JNUURM money on useless BRTS corridor we could devise something like this and rejuvenate Khan and Kshipra river

Dewas udyog and FCS software

there are news of them inking a pact.

Now FCS is a small IT company which seems to have some connection with DCM group and promoted by an NRI

Dewas udyog is a MP state government unit making pipes.

Collaboration for what??
Something is brewing ::::

24 hour water : pipe dream

after spending crores on 'feasibility' study of metro now this new experiment.

points are?
1.you can't give water for 1 hour in 2 days in 99% of city and talking about 24 hour water?
2. if it is good thing how did you choose a single area?
3. if it is not a good thing why civic bodies should foot bill for same?
4. has anything been learned from experiences of Latin American country?
5. who are these companies? please make their name public...

Bureaucrates like Rakesh Shrivastav...

Gentleman was DM of Indore till yesterday and is now PR head of state government.Another ex DM Manoj Shrivstav held the post for a long time under BJP rule.

Most striking thing was so called anti encroachment drive initiated by this gentleman in wee days of is tenure.

Should we thank him??

Not at all. Someone who says his best achievement was getting four elections done ( that was his role as chief electoral officer not as DM) and getting IIT to city ( except much maligned Arjun Singh I do not think anyone in his right mind can take credit for it) conveniently forgetting that communal riots which happened within few days of his arrival in city tarnished name of Indore far and wide.

Politicians of both sides had a gala time in all constitutional bodies be it IDA, IMC or Panchayats not leaving even poor animals of zoo. Land sharks proliferated and crime rate touched new heights.

Water situation worsened and one good thing which his predecessor Vivek Agrawal had done i.e. City Bus was left to decay to its own fate can surely be called some crowning glories of his tenure.

When his deputy Gopal Dad tried to set house of private schools in order , he was conveniently shunted out. When Sanjeev Shami was fighting lonley battle against rule breakers he was never given a helping hand

and now this attempt at getting cheap publicity by snatching livelihoods of some small shopkeepers but leaving untouched big fish (read Pakiza..)

With officers like this we do not need any enemies.

Bureaucrates of MP shine

2/5 in personal and 1/5 in group category.

jolly good show but why don't people of state get this feeling that their servants are working for their benefit and not for awards.

Heads and tails

Indore is no longer a safe place for animals. By animals I mean real animals with four legs not the two legged suit boot clad animals.

I have written about plight of animals in indore earlier also.

Most glaring was case of mayor treating indore zoo like his personal animal farm.

Now this shocking news.

Noteworthy is that this happened when poor elephant was brought from all the way from UP for a function of Jain samaj which harps on non violence.

Is same thing happening in MP

Gujarat settled narmada outstees in better manner than MP

will same story be repeated for DMIC? or shall we learn from this

"Farmers holding big tracts of land on the stretch of Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) and Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) will not be forced to sell their land to the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board (GIDB). Instead of procuring land from the farmers, which is time consuming and a difficult task, the Gujarat government has asked the farmers to pool their land together and become equity partners in the project.

The GIDB, which is procuring land for the DMIC and DFC project, has set up a special sub-committee that is in discussion with the farmers to become partners in the project. GIDB CEO A K Sharma confirmed this.

This will serve two purposes. One, the load of land acquisition over a larger number of landowners will not become a hindrance. Second, it will give an opportunity to all affected landowners to stay on in the area and participate in the development process.

The GIDB has been explaining the concept to the farmers, where the landowners in the area will hold non-transferable ownership rights of the land, cultivation rights and also receive royalty from the companies that are there in the DMIC and DFC projects, said Sharma.

Amitabh Kant, CEO of DMIC Development Corporation, said: “DMIC will cover 62 per cent of the total area of Gujarat, including 18 districts. This will have an impact on 74 per cent of the population.

Tribal love of BJP

depsite MP being a tribal state all important posts of BJP were occupied by upper caste leaders in past like kailash joshi, saklecha and patwa and now OBC have replaced them

Tribals always get a raw deal.

Even if the issue of action against corrupt ministers is concerned almost all powerful ministers in current cabinet viz. kailash vijayvargiya, jayant mallaiya, babulal gaur, anoop mishra, bishnoi , vijay shah are under serious allegations whose enquiry is stalled.

But if it is case of tribal ministers , inquiry is complete and poor souls had to resign as well.

Indore misses the real estate bus

Bhopal figures in the list of cities for whom real estate price index is to be calculated but indore is absent...

Uttar Udaya

Heard our dear CM in the conclave.

first of all being heart of india , MP hardly is a north indian state but technicalities apart..

1. cameras focussed more on Kailash Vijayvargiya as if even in delhi people knows who carries real money bag.

2. Speech of Shivraj was more like an election speech being given to party cadre. Hardly a vision. just a cacophony of statistics. He sounded like a well taught parrot.
Nitish kumar spoke much sense.

3. Shivrajji very conveniently skipped uncomfortable topics of child and woman health, industry, rail , forest etc by confusing audience with data. It was not an interactive session which helped him get away with all misrepresentations.

A government for farmers..

Everyone knows about unfulfilled poll promise of debt waiver but this piece of news is more damning. It says that while other governments were able to compel Monsato to decrease price of cotton seeds it charges by as much as 50%, MP government lost the case in court because it had not implemented enabling legislation.

Jai ShivRaj!!!
